Hello and Welcome to SewBitty! This is my very first post about my very favorite most fantastic thing-SEWING!
I began sewing about 10 years ago. I asked my Aunt to make some pillows for me, and she told me that she wouldn’t make them, but she would show me how to make them myself. I took that as a no, but a few days later, I reconsidered making the pillows myself. I did an internet search, went to a fabric store, purchased a sewing machine, and the rest is history.
I like to sew everything. It depends on the mood I’m in, how much fabric I have, and the idea. The idea. That’s the most fun part. I find that I spend most of my “sewing time” shopping for fabric and notions, and researching, and sketching out the details. I spend the least amount of time actually sitting at my sewing machine.
